This page says what 30 Flat collects when you use this site, what we use it for, and who else handles it. If anything is unclear, write to hello@30flat.com.

What we collect

  • Your email address and name, when you start a booking. The email is saved as soon as you enter it, before you pay, so that we can help if a booking goes wrong part-way. If you join the mailing list in the footer, we keep that email too.
  • Your bookings: which class, which start time, what you paid and when.
  • Your account. Signing in with an emailed code creates an account tied to your email address. There is no password.
  • Chat messages you post during a class, with the name you chose. They are visible to everyone booked into the same session, and we keep a log of them.
  • Usage events: the pages you view, the steps of the booking form you complete, and the address of the page you came in on, including any tags on the link that brought you here. Some of these events include your email address.

We do not see or store your card details. Payment is taken by Stripe on Stripe's own page.

What we use it for

  • To take your booking, confirm it by email and let you into your class.
  • To answer you when you write to us, and to fix bookings that go wrong.
  • To see how the site is used, so we can improve it.
  • To email you about new class times, if you joined the mailing list.

Who else handles it

  • Stripe processes payments.
  • Supabase hosts our database, accounts and class video.
  • Resend delivers our email.
  • Vercel hosts the site. PostHog and Vercel Analytics may record usage events.
  • OpenRouter, and the AI model provider it routes to, receive the text of chat messages so that the automated assistant can answer questions in the class chat.

These companies process the data on our behalf to provide their service. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and storage in your browser

We set a cookie to keep you signed in. We also store a few things in your browser: the name you use in the chat, a random identifier that marks which chat messages are yours, and a note that a booking has already been counted. If analytics is switched on, it may set its own cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as we need them for accounting and to deal with disputes. You can ask us to delete your account, your chat messages and your mailing-list entry at any time.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@30flat.com from the address the data relates to. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date at the top.
